My 2003 Ford Ranger has been the most reliable car I ever owned. 120,000 miles with no issues. She keeps on rolling.

Since the dealership is only handing out vouchers they can't be liable for lawsuits. Maybe the idiot on Facebook should take a basic class in lawsuits. Good for the dealership in promoting the second amendment but maybe they should put a copy of the Bill of Rights in every car and that way people can realize what is being threatened if the second amendment goes away. Too bad more dealerships or ford don't have similar programs in various states. if a state does not allow it then we would have a restriction of free speech and would be a state people should avoid moving to. A simple litmus test.

I need a new Ford F150. If I lived in SC, I'd throw that dealer my business.

Interesting. A dealership in Alabama had a similar promotion earlier this year and Ford shut it down.

*edit* Ford shut down the advertising. Not the promotion itself.

So that's a bible for the last rights, a rifle to put it out of it's misery and a flag for its burial service?

Sorry you feel that way. I bought a lightly-used, 10-month-old F150 two years ago and it has been a peach. Its the only thing I want to drive.

The only thing a dealer service dept is good for is warranty work, if needed. Otherwise, all a modern vee-hickle needs are oil changes, tire rotations, the occasional brake parts refresh and some filter element swaps; all of which can be done by most anyone possessing mechanical aptitude and some tools.

I know all about Ford's 100,000 mile tune ups, 8 new coils and 8 new spark plugs and 1,000.00 for it in the Ford service department. Over priced parts and over priced service for a poor product. I quit Ford, Chevy and Chrysler after years and years of over priced chity products and service that would leave anyone wondering "why did I do this"? I have a mechanical aptitude and have a A&P from the Army but as a do it yourself you can not do the factory computer updates no matter how good you can twist a wrench.

Default Good!

Nice to see some good old fashion American value advertising.

Not the SJW business propaganda.

If the dealer was in California they could have thrown in a case of plastic straws,

Free gas card and a lifetime pay for your SMOG cert. voucher.

I had 3 perfect Fords before I switched to Jeep Wranglers for better off road performance. Ford was the only domestic auto manufacturer that didn't take taxpayer loads from Obama. They deserve respect for that.

In 2017 I bought my 1st Ford and cannot imagine a better car ! I am thoroughly 100% satisfied with both the service and the product.

GM closed 2 dealers I liked, took a bailout, renamed the product to a name I didn't care for and the kicker, asked me what I thought of their ad during the Oscars !

My ex bought a Toyota and was bragging. This car has never broken down! I said what was that nearly 900 buck bill you paid last year? Routine maintenance ! Uh HUH ! lol

Good for this Ford dealer to promote American values.

One thing about Toyota is that they do contribute financial support to Lambda legal!https://www.lambdalegal.org/about-us/sponsors
Lambda Legal
https://www.lambdalegal.org
Lambda Legal, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and everyone living with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.

FWIW I did buy a new Toyota once. At 13000 the alternator bracket bolt broke leaving leaving a rattle . 15000 the pinion seal began to leak, at 34000 the wiring harness burned up,at 75000 the head gasket needed replacement ( dealer sabotaged the starter while changing head gasket) At 93000 the engine spun a main bearing.

Not saying this is typical but the memory has kept out of their dealerships since then.

Maybe those fords were made in the USA, Maybe, but what would be more American, To purchase?

A Japanese Toyata built in Texas with American purchased materials, employing American Workers and donating some of the proffits to American organizations or..
An American Ford built in Hermosillo, Mexico employing Mexican Nationals and materials purchased from Mexican suppliers? But... has a dealership offering a free AR15 with purchase?

By the way, Where are those American flags they are giving away made? China?

A lot of Toyotas are made in the U.S. As for service departments, it's a long drive to Japan, good luck with that.

Loved my Fords but I hated the service departments They stole stuff from my vehicle, It usually took 2+ visits to resolve issues and generally they, Capitol Ford in San Jose sucked.

GW after visiting the bay area, it seems everything sucks! Bought 2 pair of slacks got measured, 2hrs later I checked and they told me I need to pay for alterations before they could begin tailoring. Sorry I don't have all day ! My GF was refused a hanger for 300 bucks worth of clothes she bought. The anger by many in the Bay Area, we were told is because of high cost of living and low wages ! As an aside it seems the more socialist an area becomes the more anger towards fellow subjects..

The Ca. Ford dealer I am using has done everything great, including new free loaner. cars and SUVs.

I did have them put new tires on and couple of oil changes, maybe giving them a few bucks for stuff like that helps with great service?
We drove to the NRA convention in Dallas where I wanted new wiper blades and oil change. I saw the Parkland dealer check everything, rotate tires and the bill 35 bucks !

I am very pleased with Ford and if this sedan lasts, I will definitely buy another one.

Many see the Bible as the source for American rights and lets not forget the religious right had a part in electing President Trump. ^5 to the Ford dealer ! Pretty good marketing for free people !
