Default Just bought one of these. No...

...clue what I'll do with it, but Turner's has them on sale for $499 instead of $629.

Wow, they’re making a 10/22 clone

Here something you can do. When you clean the rifle you have to remove the two screws to remove the but. When you do that could you weight the receiver and the barrel and post the weight so people know how LIGHT the fiber carbon barrel is. Thanks You.

You don't buy a carbon fiber barreled 10/22 to save weight, you buy it to look cool while you're popping tin cans out on Hodge Rd

Default nice!

Hi everybody, If you haven't handled one of these, they are really quite nice.... the stock is not my cup of tea and there is no auto-bolt release..... other than that..........

I wonder if the same bolt release mod you use on 10/22 will work on this?

Since these have a LSHO feature with the factory mags, I'd suspect the auto bolt release mod would at a minimum require some adaptation. LMK when you're risking your life at Hodges... I'd be interested to take one of these apart and see exactly what makes it different from a Ruger or other custom 10/22 platform build! Looks pretty nice for "off the rack"!

Pretty dang nice with that barrel. Even if you decide to change the stock, it will be a good deal.

YSR , yes bolt releqase mod works , it is an exact copy only with the mods you do to a 10/22 already done ( except the auto release).

Jwalt , it is an exact copy should work .

I'd have to put some sights on it so I could use my Wyoming Sight Drifter

I really like the looks of the stock but never was comfortable shooting with it...
I bought a houge rubber covered stock for my Ruger Race rifle,, that has basically the same stock...
Much better for my off hand shooting and even just carring around.. My wood stock was very bulky and slick.. Not a good combination for me ...
Have fun with your new plinker !!
Cheers...

I got it on Monday, shooting it tomorrow. The trigger sucks, lots of creep. The trigger on my beater 10/22 is better.

It does have the last shot holds the bolt open, and pull on the bolt handle and it release the bolt.
