Hermosa has been without an acting Chief for a while and the Captain resigned in December....
If you know anyone wha wants to be a captain of a small city, that position should be posted up soon... The City of Hermosa Beach is proud to announce the selection of LBPD Commander Paul LeBaron as the new HBPD Chief of Police. The City of Hermosa Beach is proud to announce the selection of Long Beach Police Department Commander Paul LeBaron as the new Chief of Police for the Hermosa Beach Police Department. Former CoP of LB got elected LACo Sheriff. Didn't work out very well for LACo. Or the New sheriff.
I know nothing of LeBaron. But IF he drags LBPD policy baggage along with him. It is the good citizens of the City of Hermosa Bch that I wish good luck to. As a former property owner in LB City. I have a low regard for LBPD "policy". And the Dept in general. Lots of damn good cops there. That are/were very frustrated with the cuffs being on them, more than offenders. |
