Default 1 month and no one posted pics???

this needs a major bump...

here's a pic of an allchin mount that i drilled and tapped for both the OPTIMA, FIREPOINT, JPOINT, and BURRIS FF3, as well...

here's a pic of the allchin w/ a cmore sight as inteneded to be used...

here's a pic of the allchin w/ a TASCO OPTIMA/JPOINT mounted...

here's a pic of the allchin w/ a BURRIS FF3 mounted...

no rocket science here, you just need to work w/ someone who can accurately locate/drill holes and tap them the correct thread pitch for the mounting screws.
hope this helps...

-rusty22

p.s. thanks to all for the kind words regarding my "tinkering". much appreciated! now, post some pics!!!

I had a chance to shoot my new Buckmark URX yesterday. I can see why you guys love these guns. I fed it 3 different kinds of bulk pack without a problem. The trigger is awesome, the grip and the weight are perfect.
Thanks to all of you for leading me down this path.

I’ll be picking up my Buckmark Plus UDX Rosewood variant this weekend. Can’t wait. Really wanted a Ruger MKIV but they were near impossible to find as a CA resident. Anyways, I’m very excited and from all my research they appear to be evenly matched in terms of accuracy. Good looking pictures posted! I will post some once I get mine and then install the new parts.

Quick question: With the intention of competing in Conventional Pistol matches (25yd & 50yd) I’m interested in more info about barrels both related to accuracy and balance. Anyone of you Buckmark fans know if there is a thread already? I searched but didn’t really see one specifically. Don’t want to side track this thread so I’ll stop there.

So I bought the Buckmark Plus UDX Rosewood variant with slab side barrel. After holding several different variations including those with a what looked like bull barrels, I noticed they were actually lighter than the slab side. I prefer the heavier option for the sake of my Conventional Pistol match bulls-eye competition.

Installed a Tactical Solutions rail and a Vortex Venom red dot sight. Used Aguila 22LR Match Grade ammo and did extremely well in competition. I was shooting the other day with my wife and we tested accuracy at a 10yd target. I benched the pistol and was able to put seven rounds (of 8 fired; I jerked one) in an area no larger than a nickel (closer to dime size). I'm super happy with Buckmark and would definitely recommend it. It's hard for me to imagine that this thing could get any more accurate.

think of a buckmark as a "blank canvas"...

here's a link to "CA-friendly" models...

http://www.browning.com/products/fir...compliant.html

the nice thing about buckmarks is that once you have the receiver/frame with the grip type of choice (standard/UFX, URX, or UDX), you can order most other parts (barrels, slides, fire control, etc...) from either browning parts dept. or aftermarket enabler/vendor! you can build a 4" shorty/micro or go long w/ a 14" unlimited silhouette bull barrel and/or go back and forth if that's what floats your boat!

I just bought a 7.25 Lite, where did you get the grips? I didn't think URX grips were very available. Thought I might have to make my own.

Great thread!!

This is my first post on this forum, and I really like Buckmarks, so this is a cool thing to see.

Love the way the Contour models look, though I've only shot the URX models.

My setup is just like the one on the bottom left. I paid 379.00 plus tax and dros for it.

10 years ago I would have never thought about spending 450.00 for a 22 handgun, maybe a Ruger Bearcat.

IMO, its the most interesting shooter I have. The red dot really changed the way I look at handguns. I'm a terrible shot with a handgun, very little practice, poor skills and no training is too blame. The red dot makes it easy to get on target, its a very accurate gun.

I doubt I'll buy another one but I can't think of a better investment than one of these.

BMpic1.jpg

heres a quick pic of mine: TS rail, PA micro

been looking for better, slimmer grips for my standard UFX. I find it just a tad bit on the larger side and the kids have a harder time as well. are they difficult to swap out? kiddos and I have a great time with this. so easy to shoot and is not picky with ammo.

digging all the pics, too.

thanks in advance.

Technically, one is a Challenger II but both are accurate and fun to shoot.

Hard to find decent grips for this frame, but I found the Hogue's for a screaming deal. Like them much more than the rubber ones it came with.
