Default Help choosing EOTech

Finally getting one for my CQB pistol.

Must be NV compatible. Looks like an xps3 is what I need? Whatís the difference between the shorter and longer ones?

Do you prefer the single dot or the dual dot for 50/200m and lower dot for 7m?

Whatís the most I should pay for a new one? I see several sites with a couple hundred dollar difference and donít know if I should be skeptical of them.

XPS3 only comes in the short 123 battery model. The longer ones run on AA batteries while the short ones run on a 123. Price differences are probably based on age and model.

Really depends what youíre planning on using and doing with it in that sense. I have the exps 3-2 just because I got a great deal on it but I think I prefer the 3-0 a lot more. Difference between the long and short is battery. Some long models uses AA, short uses cr123 and saves some rail space. I havenít looked too much into eotechs holoís in a while but new from retail maybe 500 range?, buy from a well known site and you should be gtg. Since you mentioned CQB I personally think a 3-0 is the way to go compared to a 3-2 where the second dot would just be in the way.

On a 2 dot reticle the first dot is 50/200, the second dot is 500 and the bottom of the ring is 7 yards.

How many dots depends on intended use. The 2 dot reticle has been reported by some as appearing to be a blob for folks with vision issues.

Here is a decent priced offer if buying brand new. I believe they drop ship so the order fulfillment may be longer than desired. But if you arenít in a rush you may save some money.

Damn that one’s $100 overpriced.

I’m looking for the EXPS3 0. Anyone know of where I might be able to get one with a memorial day sale? All I can find are xps3s

Have to add it to the cart and view sale price in the cart. Due to MAP some vendors wonít list discounted price unless itís in a shopping cart.

EXPS3-0
- Locked and Loaded $519.95
- Grab a Gun $528.99

Images of cart and quotes below.

There maybe smaller online retailers that donít get picked up by price searches so digging around a bit more may find you a lower price. Lots of Memorial Day sales have started or should start today.

You should really check out the Equipment Exchange on AR15.com.

EOTechs and other optics come up on there all the time.

Already purchased. Not a huge fan of used electronics.

Short Eotechs are best if considering adding a magnifier.
