Default "New invention" Butler Creek electric (battery or AC) magazine loader (with video)

I know most of us don't actually Need a automated magazine loader but maybe some people with physical disabilities or folks that just do a lot of shooting could use something like this. ...

And here's an article with more of the information about it.

https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/...-now-shipping/

Doesn't seem super fast but ...

How much would you pay for something like this if they made it for the gun you needed it to work with?

^ That's true.

If we get a machine that electronically does all the shooting for us ...

we could do a full day of shooting in 10 minutes.

It looks like it should hold a lot more than 60 rounds.

Gives "full semi-auto" a new meaning, doesn't it.

Someone pointed out in the comments that two groups of people who could use something like this, machine gun rentals and military training rifle ranges, both probably get their ammunition on stripper clips. So they would have to pull the ammo off the stripper clips just to use the machine.

Honestly? For me part of the fun is loading up mags. Except the GLOCK 30 mags. Eff those things.

Yes for stripper clips. We don't need no machine to load mags. We have Joes for that!

If the military bought those the range NCOICs would keep them covered with a dust cloth and still make the soldiers manually load the
mags.

I checked it out at SHOT earlier this year. It's pretty slick. But they're not really expecting the general consumer to buy this. It's more for high volume scenarios like range operators and/or training classes.

Even if I become a millionaire ,

I think I'll just make my butler reload my magazines.

No strike that,
I'll make my maid reload the magazines.

Maybe she can wear one of those maid outfits.

Yes, I know that's going to cost me more than the machine.

Wait til one of the rounds goes off with a primer being struck by the juggling of the rounds under force.

Bah. You were right. The one I was thinking of uses a manual lever to do it.

It will cost you even more if you request your butler to be in the maid outfits....

The 60-round hopper isn't all that high-volume. Two normal magazines, and it's empty.

With that price, and it doesn't look all that robust - I'm not sure that market exists. Or they missed it by a mile.

Wonder if someone will buy this for the zombie apocalypse and when it finally hits, and they rush to load up for Zombiegeddon, they realize the electric grid is down?

AR15 mags are the easiest to load manually. Make one for pistols and I'm in.
