Looking for a FFL in the Riverside area that's close to the 60 freeway, to do a PPT at.

Trying to meet somebody halfway from Indio and didn't want to get too far away from the freeway since it's already going to be a 1.5 hour drive for me each way (twice).

Any suggestions on a good one? The one I looked up seemed to have bad PPT reviews, but they were over 3 years old (nothing newer).

Yes. You will have to maps-google to see if the location fits but Clyde is a A+ guy and has treated me well. You could email him your specific needs.

No recent posts in here about FFL's?? Guess I will be the first in a long time. I have noticed that many FFL's have either gone out of business or just disappeared any reason why?

Hmmm, I suspect that there are other reasons, such as wanting to get out of CA and get to a free state. Several FFLs have moved, not closed, at least the ones that I know of.

Looking for inexpensive FFL in Roseville. Used Golden State Tactical before they went out of business. Then switched to Armory Outpost and they are now closed. I am used to $35 transfers and now I have been looking at local shops and they want to charge $75-$100. Any recommendations. Thanks all.

I noticed on the FFL list on Bud's that there was nobody below $75, with $85 and $100 also being common. Welcome to CA!

Exactly, prices are up. 12 months ago I paid....well now Im confused as I look at receipts. It says $25 DROS but no other fees are listed and that cant be right. It couldnt have been zero. Weird.

When I was mistreated by FFLs over time, i stopped looking at price and focused on service, advice, efficiency, speed, loyalty, those things. Even an FFL who is just concentrating on transfers has a lot of costs and responsibilities and ATF and all that so I dont really care the price anymore if Im treated well. Everyone is looking for the lowest price and thats what you'll get and all you'll get.

Ive gotten good and personalized service from several in SoCal. I've got one giving fantastic help right now and I can stop fretting about the problem. So what if they charge $10 more? Ok with me!

Because I have dealt with them multiple times and when there are issues, it can be a real problem. I have posted some of the reasons in the past. They have a communication problem, calling can be a problem, often they drop ship from a wholesaler and there can be a long delay which isn't mentioned upfront and other things.

I have a C&R FFL and a COE, and I need an FFL who would be willing to receive these guns and do DROS on all of them at the same time so I only pay one DROS fee. Under California law, since I have a C&R FFL and a COE, I can buy all three handguns at the same time and pay only one DROS fee. Thanks!
