Went to PD last weekend to start a FAL build. The mag release is shrouded with room to stick a tool in order to remove the mag. As for the locking shoulder, my kit came with the one attached to the original cut receiver/barrel assembly. Whether or not it can be salvaged and used on my new receiver for proper headspacing is to be determined. I was given a written cost estimate on a new locking shoulder just in case.
