PPQ trigger is quite fantastic, reminded me of the P99 triggers in SA.

VP9 is nothing write home about in my opinion...

haha, yes. well at least for the PPQ which is the only one i have experience with.

the ppq and vp9 are regarded as having the best stock striker fired triggers for non-match tuned factory guns.

my index finger is tone deaf, and i can rarely tell between triggers. i can tell when a trigger is heavy or light, but other than that, i get nothing else out of pulling triggers.

i wonder if that is due to decades of FPS games on the PC so my index finger is just burned out on super fine feeling, and instead just knows how to mouse click.

I refuse to rank the G45 because I am still butt hurt that Glock used the designation for a 9mm...Everyone knows the Glock 45 should have been a 45 acp handgun!

I hear you. They should have named it the G79 or G97.

I like my VP9, but if I had to choose I think I prefer the trigger on the PPQ.
That being said, I’ll take my P30 v2 LEM over both (I know, striker vs hammer). One of my favorite plastic 9mm guns.

I think the Sphinx SDP might be one of the nicest 9mm shooters out there as well. My only gripe is the lack of options for aftermarket sights

My list:

Beretta 92FS/M9
Hk VP9
Glock 19
Glock 17 (including 17L)
Glock 43

Honorable mention: Browning Hi Power.

The M&P should all be recalled and scrapped into beer cans and Hefty garbage bags.

A CZ 75 variant has to be on that list.
The 2nd most copied design of all time (after 1911) and it loses out to Springfield XD?

Interesting that there were no 1911/2011s, CZs or Tanfoglios on the list.

So let's face it, no striker-fired pistols belong on this list ...

Every list like this needs a BHP to have credibility.

No BHP = Fake News.

That’s what happens when you ask a subjective question.

My vote for the best 5 handguns on the planet:

1. Pardini
2. Sig P226 X6
3. Sig P210
4. Korth
5. HK P7

Why? Because I don’t have any of them to find flaws

Nope. I nominated the Hk VP9 and Hi-Power and don’t own either one. I’ve got a $#!+ load of Glock 9mm’s and didn’t list al of them either.

My brother in law has a Hi-Power and won’t sell it. I think he thinks it’s like one of his kids to him and I don’t blame him!

While a great gun, the “VP” in VP9 stands for VERY PRICY.

Haha, only in off-roster land. A friend in NV just bought one for $575 at his LGS. Got mine for around $625(?) during SSE.

I paid $1000, $1100, and $1150 for my black, black, and gray LEs. Great guns and it’s just money. Can’t take it with you

I bought in the roster panic, but happy anyway.

Absolutely. Buy what you like, and pay what you like. As the consumer it’s your choice as to how to spend your money. And here in California we all know why that’s the case.

But I will say that the extra $400-500 went towards plenty of mags and ammo.
