USGI spoons need clips, but the striplula can be used with loose rounds.

Can you use preloaded GI clips too? edit... yeah that's the one I've seen. I've only seen it used with stripper clips preloaded. Looking for video of it used without strippers. Neat. Will have to order one.

00.50 in the video. These things eat everything. And they don’t take up a lot of room in the bag.

Welp the ETS CAM and the Striplula are both about $25-$30 so which one is better and more versatile?

Do either work for 5.56 and 7.62x51 ? Burned out on comparo shopping, hahah.

I'm gonna tape my thumb and load slow.

Has anyone used the ETS rifle loader to load 9mm in handgun magazines? I only have 9mm handguns and would rather not buy another loader if one can do it all.

The 10-round Maglula also works with stripper clips.

I'm rocking Lula's for pistol and rifle. It makes life so much easier and the strip Lula doesn't need stripper clips to function.

I don't use this one - but it seems many of you do... Not sure if it's a good price but SWFA says it's 12% off

I like to keep things simple and cheap. The standard ar spoon and stripper clip work for ar and mini14 mag, and the glock loader that they include with pistols works for glock, xd, and s&w gen 1-3 pistol mags.

Haven't looked for an ar mag loader for 7.62x39, 6.5g, or single stack pistol mags. The thumb works fine for those

Yup, I've always used a GI guide and loaded ammo onto strippers because I enjoyed it (unless they went from the store straight to the range)... but I am trying one of the ETS universals. $20 and it strips 762 rounds right from the box? Sold. I'll try something new. I have four .308's that would be cool to load like that.

SWFA has them for more $$ than Botech, and shipping seems high.

Botach has them $21.50 OTD.

i use maglula pistol loader, and the striplula for my stanag magazine using rifles.

the striplula doesn't need stripper clips to function, you can loose load 10 rounds at a time. but the faster loading will of course occur if the ammo is already on the stripper clips.

just saw the link to the stripper clips. that will be great so i can pre-load my range ammo at home so i can spend less time loading once at the range. especially with the increase in +30 round magazines.

OK I got my ETS Universal Rifle loader... loaded a few calibers. I give it a thumbs up. For $20 it is a winner. Super nice to load. Does allow you to load the "stripper" with rounds right from the packaging tray depending on how ammo is packed.

The "556" version from BOTACH is the universal one. Same one. I got mine from Botach too. It is just how they list it on their site.
