I'm picking up my second lever gun this morning, made a trade for a 90's era American made 94AE in 3030. Thank goodness for that, the .300wsm in my blr is a freaking nightmare to shoot from the bench, hahaha

I saw you post that before. It was very cool of Henry to put your kid's initials and birth dates on those levers!

So many very beautiful rifles out there. Makes me drool like a real life Homer Simpson. I have a Henry 22lr, and a pre-64 Winchester Model 94 in 30-30, but I just bought one from a gun dealer in Pennsylvania. That one is a Winchester Model 1886 in 45-70. It is BNIB and made in Japan of course. But I am really looking forward to adding it to my collection. As soon as I get it in my hands I will update this post with the proper pictures.

Glue stick (for a glue gun) or short 5-6" dowel. It's kind of like a speed-loader for m94's. A lot of guys use them at the Cowboy Silhouette matches, where you need to load 5 rounds and be ready in 30 seconds.

I am told by the owner I bought it from that it is original blued finish but a little water damage to the stock...I think it gives the gun a little character... anyway its my first Mod. 94. It took me a long time to get around to get one.

Is that the 16" or 20" barrel?
I've been trying to find one but cant locate one anywhere. The website isn't much help either, and is confusing my FFLs. http://www.chiappafirearms.com/product/2451 Both 357 Mag lever guns (Rifle and Carbine) show the same barrel length of 20", OAL of 38", and the same weight. Would love to get the 16" version of this take down. Can you confirm your barrel length and reference #? I suspect the 16" is 920-133 |

Mine is a 16 inch barrel chambered in .357 magnum. It can also fire .38 special rounds. Check out Taylor's & CO.'s website for more specs: http://www.taylorsfirearms.com/taylo...al-rifles.html For dealer locations: http://www.taylorsfirearms.com/taylors-dealers.html/ If you are near the Burbank/Glendale area check out American Gun works: http://americangunworks.net That's where I got mine. Be prepared for to wait if you are looking for .357 or .44. I think they might have .45 Long Colt in stock? Hope this helps! Post a pic if you happen to get one!
