I like Stainless too.... and 44 Mag packs some punch. It's fun to watch the round go downrange with the spotting scope, it flies so slow...

Here is my pair of .357's..
Rossi M92 ...16" barrel and a S&W 686 no dash...circa 1983. I slicked the action on the Carbine...installed a Gunslinger Spring Kit, trimmed the mag spring and touched up the wood... 1.75 lb. trigger pull. The Smith is stock other than I polished the stainless and re finished the grips.... SA Trigger pull is around 2-2 1/2 . ![]() |

Great photography there, I have the Rossie 44 mag in SS, along with a S&W 44 Mag 689 SS wood grips. I should do a similar photo in 44 Mag. Love the leather work. There is something exciting about shiny stainless steel on a gun. gives me wood...

OK, I'll take a turn.
![]() ![]() The bottom one is a Rossi 92 in .357M (just did a review on it in the last podcast episode). Anyone care to guess what the top one is?

Ooh these are some nice rifles. I pick up my Rossi in .45 colt on Thursday, can't wait to post some pictures of my own!
And more when I cut a new, better stock for it.

Top looks like a Ruger 96/22. A gun on my "want one" list for sure. Is it the 22lr or 22mag?

Marlin .357 with scope. Bought in the 1980s. Really fun and accurate.
My kids loved shooting this. An almost new browning BL 22. Fun .22 Someone above needs to downsize some photos. ![]()

Ok, i'll play. Here's my new 2013 model year 336 in .30-30. It's wearing an XS sights lever rail that allows for a forward mounted optic.(yet to be purchased)
I did a bit of normal slicking up, but otherwise its been 100% reliable. Remington's finally got their new CNC process down, it would seem. |

Nice looking old rifles there; but, I'd wouldn't mind having that double barrel!

The pic has written on the side 12/??. Is that 12/10 by any chance? Dec. 1910?
Oh.....and tell your wife her side of the family looks really angry. Those guys look like they are ready for a good drink.

Looks like December 1900. My grandparent were from that era. I asked my grandpa why he never smiled in the old pictures. He said that smiling for photographs makes a man look silly. So I think it was a cultural thing.
