Managed to pull just over 1 MOA with a 10 shot group even though my scope was retreating backwards through my scope rings

So I don't have a repeat, I went ahead and used my A.R.M.S. #22 low rings I ordered for another rifle -

Going to order another 2 sets; they're rock solid!

Clocking in at 6.9 lbs unloaded, here's my utilitarian Ruger Gunsite Scout .308.
It really is a do-everything-rifle.

Excellent. Is that the older 18" in a composite stock? or is it a new 16.1" that was sold in that stock...

I was just shouldering my blued 17" that I dropped into a Ruger composite stock early last year. Love these rifles. "If you could only have one rifle..."

I've always liked the scout rifle concept but couldn't accept anything below an 18" barrel for .308. Shedding as much weight as possible, I replaced the standard wood laminate stock for the lighter composite. Normally due to the light weight and lack of a gas system, the .308 would give anyone's shoulder a tenderizing, but with the very effective JMAC .30 brake, it feels like a. 223, honestly. Finally, the Leopold fixed power scout scope is perfect for keeping both eyes open at all times. It's a decently accurate rifle for its intended purpose.

I love it. It's perfect in my book.

audiction:

Yes, at that time it was just a heads-up for the HK enthusiasts out there.

The Unfired HK collection is still up for sale, but offered only as a single item sale.
http://hkguncollection.com/.

Due to it being offered this way, it may take some time to sell, but, no hurry.
