Here are my 2 Cadex Defense Dual Strike Short Action Remington 700 in 308 . Black one is 26'' Tactical , with AAC break, Badger knob, Leupold Mark4, Harris bipod and something else I don't remember,
FDE one is 20'' Remington Police Tactical , Leupold Mark4, Atlast bipod, etc..
Both are heavy but other than that, they're great.

Custom Remington 700 from a new bare action. Greg Tannel dual pin recoil lug, bushed firing pin, double sleeved bolt & reamed bolt raceway, fitted locking lugs. Jewel Trigger, Wyatt DBM, Ken Farrel base glass bedded to action. Weaver Classic Extreme 6-24x Scope bought on close-out because nothing cheaper was available, Burris Signature Zee Rings. Pac-Nor 24" 1:10" twist polygonal rifled Sendaro contoured barrel with Vais Muzzle break and RemNut. Bell & Carlson Medalist stock - skim bedded. Swap barrel rifle assembled by old grumpy man in his garage while smoking Macanudo Prince of Wales and drinking Kona coffee. Note lack of fluted bolt, fluted barrel and shoulder thingy that goes up.

First 10 shot group after barrel break in. Grumpy old man pulled two shots, cussed like a horse was standing on his foot.

Same rifle as a .22-250 Ackley Improved. Pac-Nor barrel with Pac-Nor muzzle break. Wyatt DBM works with fat little blown out cases. Picture fuzzy because camera was hung over.

Same Rifle with cheap Bergara barrel in .22-250, Remington internal magazine, Nikon Monarch scope. Swap barrels and interchangeable magazines, and other stuff, are more fun than barrel full of monkeys, and you know how much fun they are.
