Default My budget build

Here's my budget build for an f/class, varmint, any/any gun

All parts bought used or on the secondary market.

Rem 700SA, Davidson single shot ramp glued in, bolt knob already on it.
26" CBI remage, 260AI Match chamber (0.140fb) had 200 rounds down it
Jewel HVR/BRTS set at about 6oz
Leupold 15MOA 1 piece steel rail
Warne steel rings (only thing bought new)
Sightron SIII 8-32x56 1/8 moa dot, 1/8 moa click
Rem 40XB stock.
Rem ADL trigger guard

Dies are Redding type S FL sizing, Redding competition mic seating, also a Lee collet neck die. Shooting Lapua 260 brass, H4831 and Nosler 140rdf at 3000fps.

This gun shoots great! All said and done I came it right about where I wanted at $2200

I know it's a bit more than what most consider a budget build, but for a true match grade gun it can easily run into $5k or more.

I think so too, I was originally going to go with 6.5x47L but came across this barrel and decided it would work just fine for what I wanted to do with this gun. It has performed exceptionally well so far! Bonus is that my fire forming load is pretty damn accurate as well, so for steel matches and such I just shoot those loads.
