Project Appleseed Sacramento March 10-11
Hey All!
Project Appleseed, March 10-11, Sacramento Valley Shooting Center! We still have tickets left!! Don't forget Groupon is still available for Project Appleseed. If you have questions, let me know. Register here: https://appleseedinfo.org/schedule/?...ate=California And yes, it does start with asking if you are a citizen. Here is the reason. Due to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) a set of United States Government regulations on the export and import of defense- related articles, services, and training; and other applicable state and federal laws, only United States Citizens or Green Card holders are allowed to participate at an Appleseed event. Thank you and hope to see you on the line. P.S. I am a Shoot Boss and Instructor with Project Appleseed...Like all instructors, I am a volunteer. Last edited by NorCal22Gal; 02-21-2018 at 8:43 AM.. |

Hi SkyHawk,
It seemed to work from the https://appleseedinfo.org/schedule/?...ate=California, then click on the register link for the event you want. If it still doesn't work, please let me know so I can let national IT guy know. |

There have been issues with it and to keep our lines safe, Project Appleseed has decided to ban this rifle from the line. I don't think it'll be forever. Just until they are sure it is safe.
"(15th September, 2016) As directed by our national office, effective immediately, Project Appleseed will not be allowing S&W MP15-22 rifles on the line at any of its events until further notice. This follows an unusual number of out-of-battery discharge incidents at our events involving this model. We cannot be certain of the actual cause and we are in close contact with the manufacturer to investigate this issue. However, while we wait for guidance from the manufacturer, we would be remiss in not taking preventative action, as safety of our students and instructors and their families is paramount." Here is the thread/discussion about it. I have not seen any updates but will check in to it. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s....php?t=1243410 |

I went to Appleseed twice when it was at Chabot (RIP). It is a great event and I'd encourage people to sign up!
When my kids are old enough, I'll be signing up yet again! Just a bump for a great event! ANd thanks for volunteering!
