Several out there for $1500, I guess that's reasonable?

They also have it now in the .300 WinMag. The RPR also comes in a whole bunch of different colored finishes from different distributors.

Price has already come down. I've seen places selling them for $879 new. Unless you mean for the new .338. I imagine the price for those won't come down for awhile.

Damn it, now I've got to get one! I love my 6.5cm RPR... I'm going 30-06 bolt action next then I'll start saving for a 338 RPR.... I still need a new MLOK Rail and aftermarket Buttstock for my 6.5cm though

Yeah I picked up my 308 RPR for $899, got it today. Should probably unbox it. The 338 I've seen for $1499, the 300 I've not seen yet.

That’s about the price I’ll pay for the .338

At $1500 the RPR is already in the lowest tier of pricing for the 338LM, I'll be shocked to see it go a lot lower but I'll be pleased if it does.

I'd rather have the Savage Stealth Evo than the RPR.

About half the price for a 112:
https://www.gunsmidwest.com/sav-2244...t-338-lap.html

$300-$400 less for the BA Stealth:

OK, to me that's not a lot less, it's slightly less. I'd not be shocked to see the RPR in that zone eventually. To me a lot less would be well under $1000, which I doubt is gonna happen any time soon.

Or two. I really want one of each the 300 and the 338, and I wouldn't mind a 6mm CR either. So three? Damn.

I love the 6.5 and the 6 millimeter, these are going to be awesome! They are totally unattainable right now, none of my Distributors have them yet

Yes 338 Lapua for 2000 yards and it does pretty well at that distance.
The 300 win mag also does pretty well if you reload for it.

That’s $200 I can spend on powder and bullets

If money is that tight I'm thinking 338 might not be the best fit.

I wonder how the new 300 PRC and 6.5 PRC are going to impact the .300 WinMag and 6.5 Creedmoor. A shakeout is on the horizon.

The factory handguard is useless. Why can't Ruger install a MLOK handguard with a M1913 top rail to mount a clip on NVD?

Saw one in my local small town gun shop in .338. Surprised, because there shouldn't be much demand here. Maybe the shop owner wanted to play with it.
