Is this a Remington model ? If so, where is the link on their site ?
It is a SPECIFIC model in 308, with a 24" stainless 5R rifled barrel, stainless action and a black HS stock with green spider webbing.

Its not on the site as it is a specialty model.

They come in .223, .308, .300 Win Mag, maybe a few other calibers.
They come with an HS Precision Stock with aluminum bedding block.
They come with 20" or 24" barrel for the .308 model.
Thanks !!! How do you know what option they come in ? If it isn't listed anywhere. Is there a secret club initiation requiring me to shoot sob moa at 1,000 yards before Remington will allow me access ?

Experience and Google.

My first precision rifle was a 700 5R in .308

OP, just keep in mind that you might have a hard time finding any 700 in stock now let alone the 5R due to its trigger recall. When they do come back, just toss the factory trigger and get a Timney or Jewell.

If you can swing the cash the Remington 700 5R is the way to go. If you want a decent rifle that you can build up the SPS-V 26" is the best to start, or even a 700P, I believe the 700P has a better stock than the varmint.

I wouldn't own a 20" 308 so I can't help you there.
The 20" version is not called the "5R milspec".
It's something like a "5R tactical" or some nonsense.

20" barrels are great for shooting 100yds and closer.
That's why the swat sniper guys use them.
Then have no need for shooting past 100yds.

I am interested in longrange shooting, so my longrange guns all wear proper barrels...

I have a Ruger Hawkeye in 308 that I sighted-in but haven't touched it since. It's ready to go!

I have this rifle and it's great. I compared the 700 to this when looking around and preferred everything on this gun compared to what the 700 had to offer. Better stock, muzzle brake, and better trigger IMO.

Here's my first outing with it.
