Changing caliber on registration for ccw
Per riverside county the owner of a handgun listed on their ccw must carry that handgun in the caliber it’s registered with the CA DOJ.
Is there a legal way to change the caliber of a gun on the registration if the gun has physically been altered to shoot a different caliber? Such as converting a 45 1911 to 9mm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Riverside and San Bernardino both said that the gun has to be in the caliber it is registered in and safe upon inspection and that’s all they care about Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Wow that’s crazy. Doesn’t even change the mechanical safety or reliability of the firearm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
