Beware Fake eotech on sale
Hey everyone,
This post might be a little off topic, but I just wanted to warn everyone, specifically any new gun owners who might not be to privy to the market of optics, that there is a site selling chinese eo tech with very misleading advertisements. Here is the link: https://jcairsoftofficial.com/produc...-rnVesy7Zo4sB4 You can see that: -The "msrp" is the price near that of a new Eo Tech massively discounted to make it seem like you are getting a good deal -No where does it say you are buying a chinese or replica product and is advertised with a description very similar to a real eotech -The only possible disclaimer is that there is the word "training" in the product name -The worst part, is that they use pictures of real eotech in the description I've already messaged EOtech and they are aware of this website. They have many other items unethically marketed in a similar fashion as well. Most of you will already know the deal with this, but my friend who is newer to firearms sent me this linking thinking it was a good deal, so just a PSA. It also seems that many of their items are dropped shipped as well. I hope this website gets what they deserve. There is no problem selling replica products, but when marketed in such fashion, I feel is very low and scummy. I've also messaged the company, but they left me on read on FB messenger :/ |

Their items are all for suppose to be for airsoft users, nothing wrong with that, just the way the described and marketed the product. You can even see that they list that it is rated for real firearms.

The reviews are hilarious. "It holds zero really well on my airsoft rifle!"
Even the worst optics will hold zero on a toy gun.

That was the exact item I was inquiring here:
https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/....php?t=1697389 But it is sold by an airsoft company, so it is most likely for airsoft?

The words that describe the product probably matches that of a real product because I'm sure no airsoft users who already spends hundreds on a literal toy gun to larp in their basement yelling for mom for food wants to buy a product that says "this reproduction made in china can hold your zero on your plastic bb gun just like the operators do in the real world you chumps."

the fact you can see it says airsoft in the top left corner and the price so low that its a given it's a airsoft optic. Ive also seen them selling surefire m600 or 300 for dirt cheap on that same site and random adds on different socal media claiming to be the real deal.If it sounds to good to be true it probably is.

That’s an all airsoft website. Just went through it.
That’s normal and it caters to kids that play guns. I don’t see anything wrong with airsoft toys. I did see it says it’s for 556. That’s where they went wrong. I have no doubt it will work fine on a 22 but not a 556. |
