Default Gun show reloading finds today

Went to the local gun show today, and it was a pretty active one. Lots of people, lots and lots of guns.

Picked up a nice Italian stiletto for my daughter, and a nifty little Boker automatic knife for me. I was tempted by several rifles, but managed to fight the urge. But, I did score on some nice reloading stuff:

1000 count factory box of Hornady 115gr 9mm FMJ RN for $25
100 count factory box of Speer 158gr .38 special bullets for $6
2 Lyman cast bullet data books for $5
The Winchester Book, autographed by Maddis - $50 (that one cost me )
And an RCBS Partner single stage press for $10

Still thinking about a sweet little '94 carbine in 25-35..... Hmm, maybe I'll go back tomorrow.

I have the same autographed book by Maddis. I got it as a Christmas present from my mother. I really like it. You got it for a great price.

That's good to hear. He wanted $75 for it, so I sent in my negotiating team (wife and daughter) to run the "good cop, bad cop" routine on him. They're good at it, and save me a lot of money.

bbm, I love the 25-35 Win. soft shooting but components and ammo are somewhat difficult to find compared to the more common stuff. I have a new mod. 94 in 25-35 I added a Skinner rear sight and a taller front sight and a flat butt stock. I don't like shooting the curved butt it digs into my shoulder to much. If you do end up with it Hornady is the only company that makes 117 gr RN bullets for it unless you contact a custom maker, brass by Winchester and Lee has dies and the factory crimp die custom order unless they have a few sitting around.

The stock is a pretty tiger stripe with patina, and the bore is excellent, and 1940 manufacture date. It is now in my safe.

Thanks for the info. As it happens, I already have a 25-35 rifle, and have been reloading for it for years. I have the dies as well as plenty of brass and bullets on-hand, so I'm good.

25.00 for 1,000 rounds of 9mm ammo at a gun show. I highly doubt that.

Probably just boolits. Do you reload?
Boolits are projectiles. The part that touches the paper not completed ammo.

Bullets, not loaded ammo. Doubt all you want... I'm not a liar.

You just MOAR-THAN-BLACK-FRIDAY'd those 1000 FMJ 115gr projectiles... THAT is like ~2c EACH for FMJ!!!
2 years ago I Black Friday'd only 1000 CMJ/Plated 124gr@ $68.8133... (6.88c/ea for Plated 124gr)
(We'll see what happens this year...)
Props for gun-show pimpin'!

Actually - 2.5 cents each, to be exact.

I was pretty surprised, myself..... I saw the box on the table, and it did not have a price on it. I was going to pass on by as I have plenty of 9mm bullets on-hand, but decided to ask. Glad I did.
