Default When's the Tracy Rifle and Pistol range open?

It'll be about a 2 minute drive. They should get my time and money once it opens.

I'm excited for the place to open up! I am about 5 mins away from there. Would be nice not to have to drive to either Livermore for my rifles or Ripon for my pistols.

Agreed. And with the opening of California Shooting Sports last year, shooting opportunities are just getting better and better in the Central Valley. Life is good.

Went yesterday for their opening.

$15hr
All caliber up to .308
No shotguns
No ar pistol
No ak pistol
25 yard range

Fill your info out on their iPad and they print you out a nice range safety card.

No ar or ask pistols will keep me from going, I see no point of shooting my ar rifle in doors I just make a dime size hole the ar pistol is a blast inside

Keep in mind the complexities of opening a shooting range, LET ALONE the insurance requirements etc. They've been doing great for our community, please support them and shoot a different gun.

I'm in lodi for indoor I typically go to the gun range in North highlands or out door sac valley. To not be able to shoot one of my favorites will make me not go

I went Friday to shoot 2 handguns and wow. It sure is nice to have a clean, well lit, modern equipment with digital range readouts place to shoot. You can shoot up to .308 in there as well.

Hey guys - just saw this thread.

We do not allow AR pistols and AK pistols simply because of the damage they do to the range equipment. People made this very evident in just the first day we were open. I am sorry if you feel you can not visit our range because of this. We try to make everyone happy but non-stocked rifle caliber firearms are just too much of a risk for us.

$15 an hour??? That's kind of outrageous! Most places are $15 for all day. I pay $3/day, so I guess I won't be trying this one out.

Bit more info from their Facebook:

We appreciate all of the customer input over the last few weeks. Here are a couple changes we are making effective immediately:
1) kids under 18 will now shoot for free! (With parents)
2) happy hour! Monday-Wednesday 10am-1pm $10 lane rental instead of $15

A lot of people have been asking about memberships. Here is the info:
Price: $300 for 1 year. Vets (Show ID or DD214) $250 Active and retired police $250 (Show ID)
Benefits:
Unlimited free range use.
Free Firearm Rentals.
Free set of TRAP Eye/Ear Protection
Second shooter discounted to $10
Free Gun Cleaning

Very happy about the kids shooting for free thing.. Getting youngsters interested in shooting is very important for the future of 2A & this will allow me to take the kids a bit more than I could otherwise.

Quiet! Wow, I've been to Reed's, Target Masters, and Jackson and this is the most quiet indoor range I've been. All handguns sounded like a powder puff 38 special. My 5.56 only sounded like a .45acp. I guess all those angles sound baffles do work. Lanes are well it and target controls were nice. Allowing shotguns (even if slugs only) would be and icing on the cake.
