Default 2019 AB-1794 - Jones-Sawyer - Unsafe Handguns: Exemptions

http://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/fa...01920200AB1794

Didn't see a thread for this. Just a bill adding more LEO (or -remoately- LEO) exemptions for departments purchasing "unsafe" handguns.

Isn't the sponsor is the same clown who said that that they don't pay too much attention to the Constitution in California?

Yeah to be clear this is for department purchases, not personal purchases by members of these orgs. And they're only to be used as duty weapons by those who have completed POST training.

That said: I think it's very telling that there are so many organizations LEO-equivalents with asking for an exemption to California's firearm roster.
