Default Needed some help ! visiting northern cali to propose

Hello fellow calgunners !

This may be quite off topic but needed some help.

I am flying up to San Francisco this weekend where I am planning to propose.
Most likely will propose Friday or Saturday.....I'm not too creative so I decided to pop the question at the Golden Gate bridge.

Weather shows sunny but high 60's. I never trust the weather online and I dont know anyone up there. How is the currently weather condition ?? also if anyone has any last minute ideas for proposal spot .

any help would be appreciated!

God Bless

-Jason

Some good cams here for weather - scroll the whole page to see them all https://www.rntl.net/tiburoncam.htm

I'd do it about 1000ft over the Golden Gate

You're planning to propose ON the bridge? Yikes. Maybe look at alternate options like Angel Island or Battery Spencer.

Might I suggest you check out the Marin Headlands. Right across the GGB and a great place to take pictures of the bridge and city in the background. Also, the Palace of Fine Arts is a very popular spot for pictures.

I proposed next to the big Cupid's span (bow and arrow) near the ferry building, great view of the bay bridge from there. There are a ton of great places to propose in the city.

It's very pleasant here right now. It was windy yesterday. Don't be surprised if fog rolls in really fast though.

Are you looking to propose in front of a ton of people, or a quieter setting?

Marin headlands gets my vote. Alamere falls is another good, more private setting.

Doing it with class? Cavallo Point. Great food, nice view of the water and under the golden gate.

If you need witnesses, union square or golden gate is okay too. I’d stay away from embarcadero on the weekend however.

Congrats and best of luck dude!

Cavallo point is good. Great view, not a ton of people.
Headlands can be a **** show.
Alamere falls is a long hike, you could do tennese valley hike which is nice.
Point Reyes light house is nice as well.
During the week Muir woods is pretty empty also.
