Default P229 Locking Insert stuck

So the sig P229 is new territory to me and I was curious as to how it all fit together. Now the locking insert is stuck in place and will not come out. The hammer is in the decocked position, but the trigger is stuck rearward and won’t reset.

Any smiths in the Sacramento able to help? Heck any help would be appreciated

Try rotating the trigger pin clockwise/counterclockwise. The slot in your trigger pin is likely not aligned with your locking block. Do it gently, it doesn't need to be forced.
