I applied last year in August and interviewed with Pinder over a year ago.

Mind you, I moved out of Solano County last December, and so informed Pinder.

I just got the following from Solano Co SO:

Congratulations! The second review of your application for a Concealed-Carry Weapon License is complete!

PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:

To further process your application, please proceed as follows:

Schedule training course with one of the following approved training vendors - Click this link for the full list: https://www.solanocounty.com/civicax...x?blobid=37173 - Certification from any other vendor will NOT be accepted.

Please upload the ceritifacte via the Order Tracker (https://solanoso.permitium.com/order_tracker). You will need your order number (DAVWSIRNW), email address used during the application process (kirkweir@gmail.com), and the password you created during the application process.

You will receive notification when your permit is approved.

It took them A FULL YEAR to do the "second review".

Mind you, I've had a CA CCW for over 10 years - I move to Solano from Sac County - my background should have been a cakewalk.

Funny - I submitted my completed package here in Nevada County in mid- February and had my CCW in under 90 days.

The ID card given is much nicer than the previously issued laminate, and pick up was busy. All in all, about 7.5 months wait time here. Nice to reach the finish line though.
Happy for you, BUT

I applied 8//2/22
interviewed 10/XX/22
Go on training 10/16/23

ISYN

I moved away last December and got a CCW in my new County in less than 90 days

I think I screwed myself. I had to be truthful, so I admitted to smoking weed in the last 2-3 months. I honestly didn?t know it was against the rules. Foolish mistake. Anyone ever given a timeframe of when they last smoked weed and still gotten approved?

Update: my application quickly got denied. I really don?t smoke weed much, I had just done it within the last few months and was just being honest about it. Obviously I?ve got to quit entirely to have a chance when I reapply. Do you think one full year without smoking weed would be sufficient enough?

Default Dobbs Firearm CCW Renewal Schedule

I have left several messages at Dobbs Firearms trying to find out what their Solano County CCW Renewal schedule will be for November and December and haven't received any responses. Any idea on what's going on. I have been calling (707) 430-0090 and leaving several messages.

@Nickmonico damn I?m sorry to hear bro. I believe I stated 1.5 to 2 years in my interview. Possibly wait until 1.5 year mark to reapply.
