Default Extended magazines

Now that 30 round mags are “half” legal in California, can we buy them from private party in California?

Large capacity magazines, to be owned currently, must have been purchased prior to 2000 or during freedom week.

Keep in mind that if the injunction is lifted and the court decides to enforce the law, the mere possession of LCM's by anyone that is not exempt would be illegal.

So, if you bought it during freedom week you cannot sell it. And just out of curiosity, how could they prove when you bought it?

Seriously
Freedom week made every magazine acquired by whatever means between 1/1/2000 and then "legal".

The burden of proof is on the accuser.

As of right now, it is illegal to sell and buy LCM's in California. unless you are exempt.

So many of us keep receipts as proof our mags were legally purchased during freedom week.

It’s nice you did, but it’s really not necessary. Some people didn’t even buy any magazines during freedom week, they just unblocked what they already had. There’s no receipt to prove that.

For selling, doesn't matter - illegal whenever you bought it.

Yup! I spent a day drilling out rivets and finding out ways to break the glue/epoxy on all my blocked mags during freedom week

Not true. You live in kalifornia, not America.

Me too. I revitalized a healthy number of mags that were initially riveted to 10. It was a fun project.
