Handgun intrafamilial exception still valid?
It's been a few years since I was really following the laws closely, and I just wanted to check to make sure they hadn't closed that exception while I wasn't looking. So, to be clear, you can still receive a handgun that isn't on California's approved list if it's being transferred to you--through a California FFL of course--from an out of state parent, for instance?

Quote:
Be sure to call the CA FFL ahead of time; most have preferences on how to do the transfer, and a few do not know how to do interstate intrafamilial. NB - cannot transfer any 11+mags for those guns, have to get CA 10-rounders.
