Retro rifles anyone ever receive an order?

I waited a month for retro rifles. I asked for a refund on their sight it says refunded but I don't see the money in my account. Is this place a scam? I have never waited a month on in-stock parts. I ordered for a couple of ot h errors places that weekend all parts came in during the week. Has anyone ever received from them?

On ARFCOM, while some folks have had good luck, the consensus seems to be to stay away. Sad, because they claim to have some nice stuff.

Never received order. wouldn’t reply to emails, or pick up their phone. eventually had to do a chargeback on them

I have experience with them. I ordered some A1 parts and did not hear anything about my order for months. I emailed them repeatedly, called, and check other sites for customer feedback. The same week I went to the bank and asked to reverse the transaction, was the same one where my parts came in. I again called retro rifles, emailed, and nothing. Eventually, they pulled the funds from my account again. Overall I am happy with my parts but it's not worth the 3 month wait time with no follow-up email.

RetroRifles web site showed some stuff that i wanted and nothing indicating out of stock so i placed an order, and then waited and waited, then tried to email after 2 months no reply. Tried to call no answer. CC not charged. I went with Windham Weaponry and got a C3 upper not an A1 but quick turn around.
Maybe Retro doesn't like us Californians?

It's hit and miss with them.

General consensus I've gotten based on the few purchases I've made with them is pay with debit instead of credit; both times I used debit they shipped and I got what I asked for, on a credit card I got to play phone tag with RR and my credit card company pointing fingers saying the other side isn't accepting my credit, and never got what I ordered because they never processed the transaction.

Never use a debit card as if the sale goes south, you have zero recourse for getting your money back.

It explains why they are fully stocked! They one online retailer that has uppers and barrels. Exceptional cool parts for retro rifles! What a shame. I found my xm177 flash hider at another sight. My parts shipped 2 days after my order. Well 1.5 days since I ordered at night . Ill post them when I am sure the parts a of good quality

I got ripped off by them on a couple xm177 stocks. Never shipped. Charged my CC.
No replies to emails, zero answers to calls. I let it go on too long to do a charge back.

I have ordered from them. First part was received within a few weeks. The second order I placed tool a few months with multiple emails/phone calls. I was only able to get them on the phone twice.

I eventually got everything I ordered, but I don't think I will be buying from them again.

I’m waiting on random parts right now actually. Ordered in beginning of February, nothing yet, except they removed one item from the order and the total dropped. That was in the beginning of February.

Outstanding total is like $90 so not that concerned but I’m thinking of calling BofA and doing a chargeback then ordering from somewhere else. Only chargebacks I’ve had to do have been during COVID. Guys from BofA was surprised someone like me was calling, I guess they get a lot more ‘interesting’ people contacting them regularly.
