Default APril Fun Handgun and 3-gun Match

The No Name Pistol Club will hold its monthly fun match at Burro Canyon at 9 AM, this Saturday, at the first rental range on the right as you enter across from the range office. Sign in with us, not at the office. I have no details on the match yet, and will be out in the desert until Friday sometime, so I will not have access to update this. You can contact Allen at alrich77@hotmail.com for more info. Cost is $35 for range fee, targets, etc.

This Saturday

Saturday April 13, 2019 will be our monthly match. We have had a great turnout for the last two matches, so I hope we can continue that trend. I have some ideas for a couple of stages that should be fun and informative. I am also soliciting ideas, especially for future matches. If you have a stage idea you want to try, draw it up and we can run it at a match.

As always, if you know of anyone I missed with this email, or you know someone not on our list who is interested, forward the match info to them. See you Saturday!

Allen

We run two or three handgun stages first and then one 3-gun stage. Some people do not do the 3-gun, but just the handgun. New people are always welcome.

A handgun, at least 2 mags but the more the merrier, preferably a holster (but we can start you from the low ready position,) I bring 150 rounds of handgun ammo but 100 is probably enough, eye and ear protection, water and snacks if wanted, sunscreen is probably a good idea, a folding chair and for the 3-gun, a rifle and a shotgun and a box of ammo for each. If you do not have a suitable rifle or shotgun, bring a box of .223 and a box of 12 GA birdshoot and you can use of ours. (Trap or skeet loads, dove and quail, etc work just fine.)

Tomorrow!

We had 14 shooters this month, most of them CalGunners. With our moving target coming directly at us from 21 feet, we did 3 options for dealing with a knife or club wielding attacker , then a round heavy handgun stage with multiple targets, hostages and some targets behind barriers. The 3-gun stage required some lateral movement. Everyone said they had a great time.
