I know I know I need to get educated on the semi auto 19’s available. Hey we had a pretty big machine gun shoot out here the other week. Couple nice 1919’s and a beautiful Colt water cooled 1917 converted to .308. Damn that thing was a work of art.

ha! i'm the wrong guy to ask since i will be biased with my answer but its a solid car. the s4 is a tested platform and its been around since '92. i say if she likes it...go for it. she has good taste. i have 2 S4s and they are both stick/manual transmission. anyway, don't want to derail your SAW thread

Funny fact about the Paratrooper SAW that Bucky Barnes (winter soldier) carries in civil war, avengers and endgame. Supposedly parent company Disney has a policy where they would rather not show any actual brass of ammunition in their movies so instead of the 200 round box mag he uses the sure fire 100 round mag lol. Lame

It’s nice to drive by and see the green grass and golfers enjoying the country club.
Enjoy your steak dinner gentleman.

Anybody in the mood for an AR15 hotdog.

Clean it as often as you can because if you don’t it can be time consuming to scrape (not scrub) the buildup on the gas system parts.

No offense killer, but I still think they’re not worth the weight. They just fire, 240’s START fires.

KK these are going to do nothing but appreciate in value. Mark my word. Shoot it and enjoy it, and know if or when you decide to sell it in a decade or 3, you’ll get a pretty penny for it, guaranteed. BTW, congrats on the recently lifted mail order ammo ban order in ca. Bulkammo.com has linked 556 available right now. Stock up it goes fast. Real fast.

I just read a post from FN that “although the m249s civilian semi auto hasn’t been discontinued, it’s not currently in production”
If i can find it I’ll post it.

Found it...

Since we are talking about FN and production , did they discontinue the Scar20 civilian line? Over heard a local gun store employee telling a dude they did a run of 1000-1500 and then discontinued them for now. Not too sure how much truth is in that or if it went the way of the 249

No idea, but i know where a couple 20’s are in stock locally here in Idaho. The Scar17 has been pretty scarce as well, with them selling on the secondary market for quite a bit of money. I was offered $4k for mine a couple months ago but don’t want or need to sell it.
