Executive Orders & Bruen?

I have not seen this mentioned.

I was hoping that the Presidential Executive Order on Military firearm and ammo imports signed by Bush senior would have been ended by Trump.

Now with Bruen, can this order be challenged?

I imagine the sporting use nonsense will be enjoined. As for the executive import bans…I’m not sure. Presidents are given far reaching authority in foreign policy.

Executive Orders are one of my pet peeves. I think that the next Republican president should rescind every EO that was ever issued.

If something needs to be made illegal, Congress should draft a law for the President's signature addressing it.

Absolutely!

Our legislators have gotten increasingly lazy, the rarely do their basic job duties but they’re always running around doing irrelevant stuff to ensure re-election.

I think we should have a constitutional amendment that any member of Congress that fails to pass a budget on time is immediately and forever forbidden from running for any elected office or appointed political positions.
