Well, I recently got bit by the Winchester bug and now have four lever guns.....These are my first. I am sure as I become more educated and discerning my future rifles will be much nicer but here is my start....

Love my leverguns! They're all such great shooters... but since I've acquired the pistol calibers, I've neglected my .30-30. I'm going to spend some more time with that one even though I can't get enough of the .44.

Two 1969 mfg. Winchester model 94 SRC's in .44 magnum. The top rifle: NIB with complete set (warranty reg card, warranty cert., manual and hang tag) destined to be a "safe queen". Bottom rifle; mint condition no box or papers destined to be my saddle gun to accompany my S&W 629 Mountain Gun on my horseback trips into the Sierra's / Sequoia national forest.



And yet another Model 94 SRC in 30 WCF mfg in 1924. Rifle has a shotgun recoil pad on it and a home wood refinish but it was a local gun that came up for sale cheap and "who am I to turn down a cheap vintage model 94???"

My 1894 chambered in .32 Spl. (Mfr. date 1927). I've had this rifle since about 1961, a hand-me-down from my father. Not in collector condition but priceless, none the less!

My Winchester 94 30-30 "antique" model I bought at a recent gun show, it's one of my most favorite rifles to shoot! (The 1911 is my brother's that he bought at the same gun show)

Chrometip, that asking price is pretty fair, and maybe a little low. The sight is $100 or so on its own.
That would probably sell quickly on Marlin Owners, but you need 25 posts to be able to sell.
If I was looking for another zero, I'd snap that one up.

Have you cast the bore to check the bore diameter? Mine is close to .380"; so I've had to ream some of the cartridge mouths, so that the oversized cast bullets fit the tight chamber when seated in the brass. Great accuracy with lighter "Cowboy" loads of the discontinued SR4759 smokeless powder. I still have 5 lbs of that.

I currently have 5 chambered in 38-55, but only one I really shoot much. That one is this 1893 and I have slugged the bore to find it is .379 and in really good shape. I haven't had too many problems getting rounds to chamber, as I have a good supply of both Starline and Winchester brass and I have found some rifles prefer one or the other.
