For those of you who have searched high and low for "affordable" full size 10rd 9mm P320 magazines that are actually in stock, check these out:
https://www.hoopergunworks.com/produ...agazine-blued/ I just received two of them and they appear to be of excellent quality. Made in Italy, which is usually a good indicator of magazine quality. They look like Mec-Gar magazines. They fit and function just fine with snap caps. They drop easily and hold the slide back after the last round. Will post an update after I get a chance to shoot with them. $28ea sure beats $50ea for Sig magazines.

No sales tax per my pre-purchase cart totals. ACT-MAGs are made in Italy and imported by Armscor USA.

They drop free in my X carry grip module. I simply removed the silly "tabs" on the floor plate with a dremel.

Those are .40, not 9mm. Full size p320 10rd 9mm mags are out of stock most places and if you do find them, they are $50 ea. 10rd .40S&W mags are plentiful and in stock pretty much everywhere. Same with 10rd 9mm compact mags. Its the full size 10rd 9mm p320 mags that are in super high demand/ low supply right now.

And, they are not CA friendly. Most of us have stopped buying from them.

If you get one that soes not drop, take some 400 grit sand paper and work around the outside of that mag. Bam, it is drop free now. Mags are inexpensive gadgets and are not always made with the precision of a Nikon camera lens. |

I only had to remove the "tabs" on the baseplate because Im using an X series grip module and dont want to buy new baseplates so I just dremel that material away. Its super easy and takes literally 5 mins. No skill involved whatsover unless your idea of skill is not being a dumb@$$. I have no doubt that these mags would drop free in a standard full size P320 grip module. I dont see how they wouldnt. They are super slick and look like they have the exact dimensions of factory Sig mags.

Well, I just order a couple. I also noted they have a Military Discount. It says "We are implementing a 10% military discount for all current and retired military members. Please contact us for your personalized coupon." I asked if it applies to veterans as well.
However, I didn't want to wait in case the mags sell out.

Mine came last night. The followers look like they're going to pop out the top of the mags. When I insert an empty one into my fullsize, most of the time, the follower skips past the slide lock and won't lock the slide back. Since the follower didn't engage the lock, they don't drop free either.
I'll fiddle with them some more later today including swapping parts from my OEM Sig mag. IMG_3346.JPG

I wonder if it is because Im using an X grip and X5 slide. My FCU is standard P320.

My full size is the standard module that came with my xchange kit. The one mag that came with it has no issue. I do have an XCompact grip, I can get the follower to slip off in that one as well. When I look with the slide off and insert the mag, it barely catches the slide lock. If I twist or tilt the mag as it goes in, it will skip past.
I'll swap some of the followers from my other mags to see if it's the followers or the mag bodies. I have only 1 fcu (from my compact) but have a full, compact, xcompact and subcompact modules (and slides to match). Thanks for the feedback.

Well, mine are a no go. I swapped some followers and they worked a bit better but still slip off the lock. Here's a pick comparing my Sig OEM 10 round fs (on the right) to the others. I've requested to return them.

Sorry they arent working for you. I havent shot with mine yet so hopefully i dont have issues. Where did you find promag p320 mags. I've actually had good luck recently with promags for the M&P fullsize and shield. I think they stepped up their game.

Well, they can't be upside down since the springs are wider at the bottom than they are at the top.
The sad part is I tried to reach Hooper Gun Works by direct email, website contact and even Facebook and have heard no reply. They have a few complaints in BBB. They have no physical store and only have a PO box. I'm going to try contacting ACT Mag to see if I can resolve this. Otherwise I'll contest the transaction with AMEX. For now ACT Mag = ProMag (or maybe less) If it's too good to be true......

I’ll update as things progress (or not). My preferred 320 config uses my Xcompact grip module with my compact RX slide. Got enough compact mags for now (all Sig). Would have been nice to have a few extra mags for range trips as a full size.
I mentioned Promag earlier. While they do make 320 mags, none are limited to 10. I’ve had my share of pain with Promag before so perhaps the lack of restricted mags is a blessing in disguise. |

![]() ![]() ![]() I’ve only have 1 Promag magazine work flawlessly and that was for a Sig P6. I recently bought 1 for my 3906 and out of the box it takes a hard smack to seat the mag in. With the ammo and component crunch I haven’t been to the range.

I finally got to test mine out and they were.... FLAWLESS! Functioned perfectly. I have three of them. Since 9mm is pricey, I only put 10rds through each.
I have no idea why others are having issues. Mine do everything a mag is supposed to do: lock in solidly, feed perfectly, hold slide back on last round, and drop free with gusto. No issues whatsover.

Yeah, i dont think that will happen with P320 mags as the feed lips are totally different from a single stack 1911 mag.

I've had bad luck with "cheap" mags. Then again I guess that is relative. Not all affordable mags suck. Just some. I have no experience with this brand. But would love to find out that they are good to go. The more reliable mags out there the better.
For my 1911, I've had the best luck with Chip McCormick and the mags that came with it. It's a Sig. Yet with my older Kimber 1911 I no longer own, I actually had trouble with the more expensive Wilson Combat mags. The curved follower caused issues. Might not be an issue with my Sig, but I've been afraid to use them. Especially since the Chip McCormicks work really well for me and are less expensive. For my Glocks I've found OEM, ETS, and Magpul all work well. But there is a Korean company.. KCI? Something like that. They were junk. On day 4 of a course at Front Sight at the end of the day the springs all gave out at once. Had no umph anymore. The rounds would just fall out. I can't remember if I replaced the springs or just tossed them. It was years ago and they were dirt cheap. My brief experience with ProMag magazines didn't go well. Read others had similar experiences. I had issues with MFT AR Magazines. I left them loaded and the feed lips spread apart. The rounds just starting falling out of them as well. They of course replaced the magazine and told me they made improvements to the design. But I no longer leave my AR mags loaded unless they are Magpul and have the dust cover installed which relives the pressure on the lips. I guess what I am saying is before you trust your life to them...shoot the living heck out of them and make sure they are good to go and not only won't have issues up front, but hold up over time. I am just curious.
Are most of the people in this thread around early 20ish years old? I am asking because I started reading this and I was going to start replying to posts, but I decided to read all the way through and I am reminded of the time when I was early 20s and trying to find mags for my Taurus PT-92 and EVERYWHERE I was looking the mags were just sucking. I think I ended up with about 10+ mags for it by now, some made by butler creek, some by pro mag, some were Triple K and others were who knows what, el cheapo mags bought at the gun show... And I am sitting here looking at my P320 with about 15+ full size mags (21 rounders and 15 rounders) and I think I have 2-5 10 rounders, but they are mostly for the smaller frame. I asked my dad to pick up some mags for me when he went to AZ cause surely they had mags there. He came back with 2 10 round COMPACT mags that cost me $43 each. I was like. Damn... Anyways. Where I am going with this is simple, there is someone here and someone on ebay that sells the 10 rnd mags for the P320 OR you can buy the blocked off mags from either seller as well. They will run you about $35 each, but they are factory Sig and they run beautifully... I hope you have at least tried to find either of those two sellers before you go out and start compromising with cheaper mags. Pro mag sucks in my opinion. Now that I can afford decent hardware, I tend to run Factory mags on everything except the Operator. That guy gets Wilson Combat 47D (Ebay seller for $28.00). Good luck I guess. Too bad Magpul does not make P320 mags. I picked up some of their $13.00 G-17 10 rounders and They feel pretty good. Ebay seller again... Good luck on your quest.

Well, this appears to be a dead end. ACT Mag offered an exchange through one of their vendors, but they don't have 10 round mags. I have not heard back from Hooper. Hooper shows the 10 round mags OOS.
So I'll open a BBB complaint and try to dispute the charge with my CC company.
