Default No a2x option on BCM 14,5" lightweight but can on standard. Why?

Anyone know why? I am interested more in the lightweight but prefer the a2x flashhider pinned and welded. They don't allow it as an option for the lightweight, but do for the standard. Anyone know why?

Probably just what sells.

For example, their m4 socom carbine barrel doesn’t seem to be offered with a free float handguard

Not to be a butt-insky, but isn't their M4 SOCOM upper intended as a clone of the military uppers? If it's not FF for military use, why would these be? They probably figure, if you want a 14.5" FF upper, buy one of their other offerings.

They do sell just the barrels of course, if you want to FF one on your upper. In theory; out of stock right now. But I'm sure you considered this already.

Yes correct. I got the components and assembled them

Planning on returning it (new unfired) and move on to a different project
