I am going to buld a shooting table that can accommodate 2 shooters and would like to know what is the correct height I have shot locally at angels shooting range and they seem a little low I feel I'm always hunched over Thank you guys for your suggestions in advance Sent from my SM-N976V using Tapatalk |

"a shooting table that can accommodate 2 shooters" is (from my experience) a bad idea if it is used as a shooting rest for two.
While one is shooting, the other may be doing something else-loading, unloading, whatever. And the activity will shake the table enough to keep each other "off POA." And recoil of one shooter's shot will certainly jarr the table for the other shooter's aim/shot. |

And I agree with Sofbak; two shooters on a bench is not ideal. |

Bench height is relative to seat height.
Which is relative to the shooter's height, and his "comfort zone." Typically when sitting, you want your hips at least as high as your knees or a couple of inches higher than your knees, with both feet flat on the floor. So start there and work your way up with a tape measure to your elbow height in shooting position. Or google shooting bench plans and see what height range comes up. |

Two shooters on the same table, is not the way to go. As far as the height of the table, the stool has to be a height to accommodate the shooter. I bought a used drummer's stool for $15 off craigslist, it is adjustable for height, so with this stool, I can adjust it to shoot off multiple height shooting tables.

That's why you see people at Angeles with their own chair (stool)
Right now I am making my own riser to put my front rest on so I don't have to lean down so far to shoot.

32-34 inches.

I used these legs to build my shooting bench. I used the 34" height.

I would sit at my kitchen table and see how it feels to get a baseline, then move up or down from there as you see fit.
As someone mentioned, typical workbench height is around 32 inches, but ideally it would be sized to fit the actual person using it.
