Default Has anyone been to Monterey Bay Aquarium lately?
Heading there this Tuesday. Has anyone been there in the last few months? If so, have any of their policies changed (metal detectors)?

I've seen a couple of old threads here about it, but those are at least 3 or 4 years old and a lot can change.

Was there a couple months ago and they were randomly wanding people. I went in carrying my son so they just let me through. If you have a bag they were checking bags.

Why would anyone feel the need to conceal carry at an aquarium? Are you hopping in the tank with a great white??

When in public is the time to carry. Location is only relevant when regarding restrictions to lawful carry.

Perhaps you could share with us your way of knowing where we will or will not need our piece. It would save me a lot of trouble you know... because if there's going to be a gunfight I just won't go there.
