They don’t seem to hold up. A buddy of mine saw two brake at a match few weeks back shooting from prone with the bipods preloaded. I’d hold off for a 2nd gen.

I've had a couple for a while - haven't put em through hard use... I wouldn't use them in competition (I've got much better bipods for hard/critical use) - but for under $100 I am happy with them.

It's doubtful a bipod exists under $100 that is the cats meow... It's also doubtful that a better bipod exists under $100.

Do you have a CZ PCR or P-01, a Kel-Tec P-11, a WASR, a fixed mag Draco, or a gen 2 or 3 PSAK-47? Let me know as I may be interested in buying or trading for those.

Gonna use one for a 4 day marksmanship class in March. Should I bring a Harris as a backup? Two is one, one is none?

.223 AR

Dunno if they allow backpacks as a shooting rest, but I prefer that. New class, the timed portion maybe tough without a bipod unless we start rested from the prone.

I have the Atlas on my two AR's. Great bipods.

You should find out what's allow for both the front and back rests. The more comfy the better the shots. Also, the more confidence in the setup, the better the shots.

Iíll watch the FS thread in the Training subforum and see what guys are saying. The class is new for this year and no one has taken it yet. In their other classes, they insist you shoot what you got, so if you have an 11 lb rifle, thatís what you shoot upright, kneeling, sitting or prone. Thatíll be brutal on the shoulders.
