City of Davis Officer Natalie Corona (pictured below) was shot and killed as she responded to a traffic collision late last night.

Was in the academy with her until I got injured and had to resign. At a loss for words right now. RIP.

No!! WTF, we just lost officer Singh and now this! I am at a loss for words. God bless officer Corona and her family and friends! She was another hero taken far too young being a hero. What a horrible loss!

Last night I was so happy to go T8 w/o a mourning band...and now this so sad.

This is so sad! Just read the newest details on what happened and it makes me sick. I was reading it and my wife asked me to stop because she was getting too emotional. I pray for Natalie, her family, and everyone that knew her. Such a horrible loss!

Me too. Cant respond to any calls these days without having to wary. Very sad. She barely got a chance to just start her career.
