Default What to do?, 2 Democrats for Senate..

We have De leon and Feinswine for Senate. Both lousy candidates, both anti guns, both sanctuary state supporter, etc., all bad! We cannot not vote for either. I guess we need to look at it strategically. If we vote Feinstein, she may get impeach (hoping)later on for the Kavanaugh leaks and all the other **** that they're investigating her for , and that may open up her seat and maybe a republican can sneak in. De leon on the hand pretty much nothing on his record that can compromise his candidacy. If he got the seat, we're screwed even more.
So,...what is there to do?

Fineswine for the "win".

She is old and probably will get replaced before she can serve out her term.
Cox wins, he gets to replace her!
Newscum wins, he won't pick DeLeon, they do not like each other.

So the goal here is to send De Leon back to political obscurity as he is term limited out.
With some luck maybe Cox gets to choose.

Cold logic sucks. But there it is.

Both Feinstein and DeLeon suck, but the idea of Cox winning is laughable. Newsome like Feinstein is a wholly owned subsidiary of corporate America.

The only way corporate America loses is if the riots in the sanctuary cities Trump was talking about get bigger.

Best strategy under the circumstances. DeLeon in the Senate is every bit as bad as Kamala Harris in the Senate.

DeLeon needs to fade into political obscurity.

DiFi needs to get to the point that a Governor Cox can replace her.

That's our choices, unless DiFi pulls a Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

DiFi by a landslide.

Don't want or need DeLeon..that is unless you don't want your firearms/rights any longer.

If your senator must be a Democrat, choose old and spent. Curtail De Leon's ambitions.

Vote Feinstein!

Watch this excellent Prager U. video.

After watching it, if you believe Feinstein is a Liberal and DeLeon is a Leftist, the question pretty much answers itself: Feinstein FTW!

Leave it blank. Neither is worth a vote, and the pros and cons of voting for either kind of balance out, anyways.

By voting for Liberal Feinstein you are voting against Leftist DeLeon, and that is vital.

LOL, they are both quite far to the Left, one just moreso than the other. When both choices are sufficiently evil, the "lesser of two evils" mantra no longer applies. Feinstein has seniority that would be lost with her gone and she has much to answer for that would make her defeat satisfying. De Leon is even more radical and would be able to sustain his rise were he to win election, but he would be at the bottom of the Senate totem pole. It's basically a wash. But, again, both are evil enough, far enough to the Left, that neither is worth voting for, and I think a large percentage of voters sitting out of that race would send more of a message than voting for either one would.

I refuse to vote for either and encourage all to do the same. The idea that an individual can strategically vote in a meaningful fashion in a large electorate is foolish, anyways.

I don't understand the not-voting concept, especially in this case. Obviously, neither candidate will help our cause, BUT, one candidate is definitely WORSE for our cause. Therefore vote against "worse". It sucks, but that's what we have. Vote for the old bag.

The polling clearly indicates that DiFi will win by a large margin. This means that our votes are practically meaningless. We are not going to change the result, DiFi is going to win.

This frees you up to use your vote, if you wish, to send a message. You can choose to vote for DiFi to indicate she is the lesser of 2 evils. You can vote for DeLeon to protest DiFi's anti 2A history. You can write-in a candidate (I think) to make your position even more clear (i.e. write in NRA). You can abstain to indicate your contempt for the choices placed before you.

What you say is nonsensical.

By all measures, both are horrendous candidates not worthy of a vote. Since there are no other choices, the only right choice is not to vote at all in that race. If you think that make someone a ***** then that says one hell of a lot about you, and not in a good way.

Both are terrible judged any way. There is no real "lesser of two evils" situation here. They are both so extremely bad that one being a tad less so is largely academic. Voting is more than just a number, it is an exercise of power and can be judged from a moral perspective. Voting for evil, especially when it will not prevent greater evils, is simply, well, evil. It has no redeeming quality.

Neither is significantly better than the other. Both are extremely bad. Whether or not one votes in this race has absolutely zero bearing on the gubernatorial race, so your statement makes zero sense.

Fineswine if very old.
De Leon is young and term limited out.

So yes both are bad but they are also different.

One has a fast approaching expiration date
where the other could be around for eight years as Senator and then run for Governor even.

Sink De Leon now while we have the chance.

Feinstein might not be pleasant but DeLeon is a complete leftist lunatic. When Feinstein beats him, he’s out of office with no place to go. All the State offices are locked up with incumbents for years to come. All the open or contentious house seats will be resolved. Newsom hates him, so no cushy state appointment. DeLeon ends up in the trash bin of political has beens.

Don't like either of the choices. Especially Kevin De Leon. The media will just brand him as the latino obama if he gets in. He needs to stay far away from the senate.

I was going to vote for Feinstein to block De Leon, but after Feinstein's Borking/Thomasing of Kavanaugh, I knew she was just as evil as De Leon. I left that race blank (knowing all the while that Feinstein will win anyway.)
