Default Camping/Fishing near Kernville

Thinking about a trip to Kernville for Presidents Day weekend.
Will have two 23-25 self contained trailers
Any good campgrounds?
Hows the fishing?

You’ll want to double check if they are renewing the closure order prior to going. My hunting trips this year were canceled due to theses constant closure renewals

Use to go there mid 90s was nice no crowds whatsoever.Didnt go for about 7 years and went up looks like more found it.Use to go to camp 6 back then then that closed so other side of creek at camp 5.Last i went was about 2011 was still fun did good on fishing too but hear they close that area to camping jun to oct or something like that now?

I know theres a pay campground on other side of the road though that prob stays open.
