Default what would YOU survive?

lets admit it, we all thought of survival scenarios with you in it, how did it play out in mind? do you thrive away from civilization, or did mother nature get the best of you and your fighting to the death to barely survive? please answer i would like to know.

also just for fun which environment would you prefer to survive in?

Tropics or beach. I find it weird all these preppers move to cold places. I'd go someplace like Kauai. Rains fresh water every day. Fruit on trees, easy gardening. Chickens and pigs running wild and a ocean teaming with fish. I'd be good to go.

I could survive "Dessert".
Cheese Cake with berries on top.

(I can also survive in the Desert too.)

Spelling bee is out of the question, though dessert sounds nice and gets my vote.

I'm the only one that went plains, i'd imagine there would be ample food for you to find/catch.

Yeah, but getting there could be a problem if you're starting here with minimal supplies and a sailboat.

Picking a optimum spot is easy when you're home watching TV, posting on CG and the open grocery store is 5 minutes away.

To make a place like Kauai work, you have to already be there.

And I could survive forever with enough dessert.

Those all suck.

Desert: I hate the heat so that is out. Snakes and other nasty critters, no thanks.

Island: What kind of Island? Deserted death island or Kodiak Island? Tropical islands have a higher risk of disease.

Tundra: Been there done that but the issue is building materials, no wood. You would have to make all structures out of stones. Also, what are you going to burn other than grass and moss?

Plains: possibly, again, worried about sufficient building materials. and Firewood. But might be the best choice out of the above for me.

I like the dessert option. It depends on if I finish my dinner though.

For poster # 10, there are plenty of trees in the plains. Plenty. As in river bottoms loaded with whitetails, check out Wyoming and Nebraska and Kansas. Etc etc. Whitetails taste good.

Gotta agree with the Deckhand
Moderate weather, good water and food and hard to get to once it starts

I would choose coastal areas on the mainland , dont want to be stranded on a island, the same areas many California or Pacific Northwest native americans survived.

Chernobyl. Isolated, Barely radioactive, Lots of buildings to take shelter in in case of a bad storm. And a quick drive to closer cities in Ukraine for food runs

Good luck getting to any of those places. Dessert sounds good

IMO you'll be ambushed for you preps before you get any where near to where you think you want to be.

Your ambusher's will likely be those gun grabbing liberals, or fellow CGner there will be no survivors lol
