Default Fla. non resident CCW permit

Would like to obtain a ccw for Fla. Any suggestions on the easiest way to obtain one.

You don’t need to go there.
Apply online or request a paper packet. Use the same proof of training that you did for AZ or CA.

You will need to have your prints taken at a police station and mailed in, along with a passport photo scanned or sent to them with your prints.

It takes about 60 days. It’s good for 7 years but cost around $120.

My folks live in FL.....I use to, but stuck in commiefornia now.

If you are a vet, it takes 30 days. Applied in Dec19, got it in Jan20.

I used CA Hunter Education Program Certificate for training requirement. Permit is good for 7 years is very nice indeed!

For my Florida non-resident permit I used either Whittier PD or LA Habra PD to do the prints.

The Florida CWFL will ONLY add Florida to your current coverage and this is only due to the fact that even though Florida will honor both Arizona & Utah, Floriduh still refuses to honor non-resident permits!

So if you were planning to move to Arizona or Utah soon, it would moot your need for a Floriduh CWFL....
