River Incident Placer/Nevada County fire start 8/4/21, approx 1400
They're doing mandatory evacs for a new start somewhere around Amber and Silver Leaf out of Colfax/Grass VAlley area? Not sure of the roads and area over there but listening on the scanner.

Yeah, have been hearing the dispatches out of Grass Valley. And its only (barely) August.

I just walked out to get the mail and can see the smoke from here in SE Butte County. It looks like it is building rapidly.
