Why would you have to sign again?

Same boat. Signed petition this summer at local Albertsons. Willing to sign up neighborhood, mostly Americans, but don't want to risk petition with double entry.

Not much time left and a 59% approval rating. He is more likely to be Kamel toe's VP than he is to be recalled.

Go door to door to hair salons, nail shops and restaurants. Should be easy peasy.

This is easy to do yourself. No need to go anywhere. Just print the signature sheet, watch the instructional video and mail even just one signature. Your own, with a postage stamp.

I finally got off my butt and did it. I figure while I was at it I collected over a dozen signatures from work and the range. Might as well maximize your postage stamp.

This is really easy to do gang. It's even easier than writing to your elected official.

Once you watch the 2 minute video (I thought it would be complicated. It's no more complicated than joining a mail in raffle like we did as kids) you'll be motivated to get 1 or 2 more signatures without breaking a sweat.
The hardest part is overcoming the inertia of not doing anything.

Hell, it takes less willpower than getting up for a jog in the morning.

While everyone is capable of filling it out and mailing for themselves, I am collecting signatures in Los Angeles (west side mostly) and am willing to bring a signature sheet to you if anyone would like. Please send me a PM and we can figure out a time to meet.

Lets get this guy out of office.

Of course they are. The unions own this state.

200k in 2.5 weeks , means at the same rate would be 1.6m or 1.7m by the time it ends.

Just a friendly reminder gang, its real easy to print out the sign in sheet yourself (download the sheet and print it), and have 1-2 people you know, hell your local friends at the gun range, and send signatures in yourself.

It's pretty easy, you don't have to give blood or give a speech to collect even half a dozen signatures yourself and mail it in.

Is there any way to check and see if our sign petition has been registered or counted? I've signed this thing twice and find it hard to believe that we can't get to the vote total overnight to recall this a-hole. I'd like to see if my signature was counted, would be happy to sign it a third time if it wasn't. Anybody that can post a link it would be greatly appreciated if it exists

Don't think there is a way to verify if yours has been counted, but you can bet your *** they're verifying everything on these, unlike mail in ballots.

I signed mine at an ffl so can't really see why it wouldn't count, but this is politics and nothing is beyond reproach with these idiots

I signed the petition in June 2020 at a Ralphs Supermarket in Brea, CA. Was this for the current recall or a prior one?

Go ahead and sign again, if in doubt. The recall hired a company to check for duplicate signatures. Remember to sign in your own county, or download a petition, sign.

Signature verification?? Gosh.. I am certainly pleased that they are enacting some rigorous protection measures in order to preserve our democracy. Bravo!

At any rate, I signed a petition at my local FFL in June of 2020 as well. When I contacted him about this latest recall he instructed me to sign the new one as the old one was defunct.

I am not instructing you to do one thing or another, but according to this, the newest iteration was launched in June of 2020.
https://ballotpedia.org/Gavin_Newsom...nia_(2019-2021)

At the very least, ladies and germs, sign the petition AGAIN if you signed before June 2020.

...and once again you do not need to go to some special place, you can do it from your home, print it out and mail it in YOURSELF.

I've signed a petition already, however I've not been keeping up with this too closely and am unsure if I signed the current petition or not. Any reason I shouldn't just print a new one and sign again just to be sure? I assume they'd be able to toss an extra signature if that was the case.

Easy answer. As much as this is about removing him from office of the Governor of CA, it’s about shutting down his political career before he tries to become President of the United States.

See the big picture, people. Don’t be a pawn of the left.

This is what this is all about. Even if he remains the Gov the process and ensuing circus around it will following him around forever and make it very hard to run for anything else.

Lol, this won't make a **** lick of difference for his political future. He'll wear it as badge of honor and the Left will embrace him even more.

Unfortunately, there's likely more truth than poetry in that assessment.

Without a viable alternative (and John Cox is unlikely to be such), the Left will promote Newsom remaining in office as a 'win' and 'proof' that "the People" are with them. One doesn't even have to live in an alternate reality to grasp that.

If drug use, incompetence, adultery, hypocrisy, and all the various other things Newsom is guilty of have proven 'irrelevant' to his continued career, what chance does a recall election he actually wins have in derailing that career?

As I've said, there's much more to this than simply getting enough signatures and, unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be more to 'the plan' than just that. Or, at least, I'm still not seeing it being presented. Sooner would be better than later on that.

This got posted on Twitter earlier. It sounds like they have enough signatures. I still haven’t seen any possible replacement who stands a chance though.

It would be very amusing (but not likely) if a wave of conservative voters moved into CA just long enough to vote. It works for the Dumbocrats, why not for us (yes, I know, we don't have Bloomberg/Soros money to pay for it but don't burst my bubble...)?

I respectfully disagree.
This is exactly what the prog/libs want you to think- just give up. As long as I live in this crummy nanny-state I will not think that way. Anything I can legally do to protest the one-party socialist state of CA I will do it.
By the way- if this recall happens- I nominate Larry Elder. Win or loose- that would be a great show indeed

Where did I say that I think we should give up? I simply think won't make a difference for his future in politics.

Maybe, just maybe Gavi will be so distraught he will hang himself? Or maybe he will wrap himself in the Chinese Communist flag, and desecrate it with a large caliber bullet hole. Good, so Gavin is recalled - although chances are a majority of Calidiots will vote against the recall. But say he's going to be recalled, then he's going to run again and guess what: he's going to be re-elected. Because the Calidiots will vote for Satan's spawn if he has a "D" after his name, before voting for a Republican.

Lets not leave out the cowards who take themselves out of the fight by registering 3rd party instead of republican ! If registration numbers were nearly equal, cheating would be more difficult !

Yeah I got street cred on this too ! My principled libertarian vote got us FEINSTEIN !

Cowards? The Republicans and Democrats are simply different sides of the same coin.

Both dirty, corrupt and couldn't give two shots about me or you.

So far, the only names which have cropped up with any 'recognition' have been Cox and Faulconer. In fact, Cox is already assuming the recall as fact and has started putting out ads. The one I saw for Cox a few days ago is the one referenced in this report...

Naturally, the media is already playing Cox and Faulconer against each other and on their 'weaknesses,' not 'allowing' them to focus on Newsom; though Faulconer did his best...

Not a big fan of John Cox. I'd like to see what traction Travis Allen could get, though.
