About 2 years ago I bought a shirt from the Walmart website and it wasn't as described so I sent it back thinking it would be as easy as Amazon but Walmart wanted me to deal with the third party seller who wasn't responding.
So after a whole bunch of extra BS (of something so inexpensive as a nice men's dress shirt) instead of a normal quick and easy normal return Walmart eventually did realize their third-party (system) wasn't helping me so they refunded me my money and I think the third party got away with the rip-off scheme.

So be warned everything you see on the Walmart website has a great potential of being from some low budget third world third party that knows Walmart will cover their scams.
Walmart must not care because they're making plenty of money on people who don't return items or they're hoping to become the new flea-Ebay.

If you're spending that kind of money by your precious metals from a very reputable seller, but that's just my opinion.

These are on the Walmart page but youre actually getting them from established brokers like APMEX. I've purchased gold and silver from them recently and everything was as quoted - my only complaint is that the packaging of the pamp suisse bar was not great.

Sales Tax is only charged on orders below $2,000 (or is it $1999.99?)
I put 3 of the 25 x 1oz Maple silver coins (over $2k) in my cart, no sales tax, when I dropped it down to 2, it added the tax.

Not a bad price, kitco credit card price is $31.06, walmart $27.64. And with 2% back from the credit card it's not bad....spot is $23.28.

Thanks Sean.

They quietly updated the law this past year to raise the sales tax exemption to $2,000. You know, because we have to tax the greedy poor and middle class the hardest to make sure they pay their fair share on a handful of silver dimes.

How does this work ? You have buy over 2k to not pay tax ?

I just bought 5 1oz bars from APMEX on eBay and they didn?t tax

Your location says "Midwest", so not sure what state you are in. The $2000 threshold is for California only. Other states may have different thresholds or taxable levels.

Yes, anything under $2,000 will be taxed with California sales tax. To be exempt from the California tax, you have to spend more than $2,000 per transaction.
