Please suggest a good photo sharing/hosting site that's free
I currently use tinypic because that's what came up on google after I found out photobucket isn't free anymore, however there are too many ads and it's a slow website

I created an Imgur account but when I try to insert an image the image does not appear, what the heck? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or what's happening.
This is the embedding code: <blockquote class="imgur-embed-pub" lang="en" data-id="a/kwhVLqR"><a href="//imgur.com/kwhVLqR">Swivel set</a></blockquote><script async src="//s.imgur.com/min/embed.js" charset="utf-8"></script> This is the link: https://imgur.com/a/kwhVLqR |

use this https://i.imgur.com/XMKUen9.jpg click insert image, paste that link and change the size of the image, its HUGE.
I don't have an Imgur account so im not sure if they give you the link to use, what I did is go to your link, right clicked on the image, selected copy link location and got "https://i.imgur.com/XMKUen9.jpg" copied into my clipboard, paste that and your good to go. Plz reduce the size, at least by 1/2, better yet by 2/3 Last edited by Ivan275; 11-16-2018 at 5:54 PM.. |

What operating system and version are you using? Ios, android, windows? You can also retake the picture, go into the the setting of the phone camera app or real camera and look for something like size, resolution, MP, mega pixels, quality... and set it to lower setting before you take the picture, put it back to what it was so your regular pictures are nice and big.

Windows: open Paint program, open your picture with paint, Image>Resize, then Save.
For android: in the play store search for photo resize, or picture resize I'd say for a forum, something around 640x480 is good large size if you don't need too much detail 300x200 should be fine. Last edited by Ivan275; 11-20-2018 at 6:48 PM.. |
