Default I got hooked on these puppies...

Bought one, then had to get the other. Top is a series 80, bottom is an old commercial gov't model.

1911 with full length slide Bowman competition sight. Please ignore the misuse of "site" on the index card.

Thx, it is in 99% condition. I put one mag through it to make sure it fires since I bought it last year. A bit snappier than a 9mm but not as refined as 38 super, still fun to fire.

Crappy iPhone pic but here is my first 1911; an XSE! I bought it about a month ago and I love it! I'd like to get a commander sized Colt next for CCW.

Will does amazing work which also means he has a lot of business. Personally I'd wait for Will than go elsewhere. He has two guns for me right now, one of which just had a one year anniversary over there. I understand you are only getting a grip safety fitted, but that usually means the frame will be refinished too. If it is blued, then he blues in batches so that is likely the holdup.

He initially told me 3-4 weeks, after that time period he said another month. Then the other day he called and said it was ready for pickup, but he was bluing in a couple days. So I told him to blue it since I'm waiting to go back out that way once my 10 days is up on a Sig 1911 I bought.

I can't afford one nor can I legally buy one right now, but one can [day]dream, right?

I know this doesn't look like much, but try doing free hand and with no picture or gun to look at during an economics lecture. LOL

I totally get it! Don't think I'm not secretly counting the days until mine are ready too! Make sure you post completion pics.
