Default Not sure why but... Vudoo V22 inbound

Took the plunge today and ordered a Vudoo V22 in a MPA Comp Chassis.

I was looking for a bolt 22LR and kept going back to the Vudoo. Was looking at the CZ's, RPRR and Tika's but the darn vudoo took me. Will be about a month until its actually home - shipping from Florida - then paperwork - then lovely 10 day wait.

https://vudoogunworks.com/rifles/app...n-mpa-ba-comp/

Set up will be:
Vudoo V22 Action LH
20" MTU Barrel
Bix n Andy 2 stage Tac Pro
MPA Comp Chassis LH
Athlon Ares ETR

Will update in about a month

Chad

Been thinking about one for a long time due to the price people are asking for a 40x. Interested to see what you think.

They are all the rage on the sniperhide website but if you advertise there you are all the rage.
Let us know how it shoots.

Think of all the money you will save shooting .22 LR! Get some good ammo coming your way while you wait.

All I have to say is, I do not understand this end of May weather. Today was about 10 to 15+ MPH Winds with off and on showers this morning which equals good times trying to mess around with a new 22LR, was still fun though.

Just did some shooting at 50 yds to get the feel of the rifle which was great and am really looking forward to messing with it more.

After sighting in I tried out the following ammo, 5 groups of 5 rounds. Really wont judge the ammo until I get a few hundred more down the barrel and a little better weather. The SK ammo did shoo the best but was the calmest weather at only about 10 mph winds

Sk rifle match
Wolf match
Lapua Midas +
Lapua center x

Looking at the vudoo as well...

How are you enjoying the rifle? Any more range reports?

I would highly recommend one, they shoot great and it fits into any 700 footprint. I have mine set up like my dasher and creedmoor so that is a plus having them all feel the same when behind them.

I only have about 600 rounds through mine, this summer has been busy with vacations and trips. I have only shot it our to 100 so far but am planning on taking it to Sac hopefully in September.

I love my Vudoo. The Vudoo and the NRL22 matches have been responsible in re-kindling my interest in shooting. I have about 9000 rounds through mine so far and it is my favorite firearm purchase ever. I am not trying to build to match a center fire rifle but I really enjoy being able to take advantage of the broad aftermarket for the Remington 700. I consider myself a novice shooter so I don't think I take full advantage of the Vudoo's accuracy but I like knowing the rifle is not the limiting factor.

Also because folks like groups, nothing to brag on, but here are a couple of pics:

6 groups of 5 rounds at 50 yards, old Wolf Match Target

2 groups of 10 rounds at 100 yards, SK Standard Plus

Nice to reward yourself with something nice.

Saw their booth at the NRA Convention in Dallas. Nice rifles. Thought "maybe someday".

Try R50. My Vudoo shoots "itty-bitty" groups with R50.

Nice gun! Why the .22lr over the .17hmr? I mainly used my .17hmr for hunting and could never go back to to .22lr.

This is for plinking and for fun also have 3 other 22's so use same ammo. If I were looking to use it for hunting I would probably get a 17hmr.
