Default Angeles Shooting Range now up to $25.

Wow,

The price of everything has gone up, so I shouldn’t be surprised. Last trip to Angeles Shooting Range cost me $25! Oh well, A2

That's still not bad, but I would like to see Angeles expand their range options on the land they have to include more obstacle-course/3-gun style ranges for experienced shooters, without a rapid fire restriction.

I would also like to see them install some better long range targets features/supply out past 300yds and replace them regularly.

$15. There were discounts for seniors and vets but $15 was the standard rate.

It’s expected. With inflation I couldn’t see them keeping it at $15. Not surprised at all. At least it’s not hourly.

Considering what Angeles has gone through the last few years, like being almost obliterated from existance, and they have kept prices down for admission throughout the covid crap, I'm not mad and will keep going there. At least they don't charge hourly like the stupid ****s at oaktree.

Haven't played golf in a couple years. Wonder what green fee's are up to?

$25 is still a good value, considering Angeles is one of the best ranges in the entire USA .

$25 for all day still isn't that bad. Like mentioned above, consider what Oaktree is doing - which is pathetic.

The example you gave doesn't work well, considering no one is charged per round fired.

Fact is there is a fixed fee to do either.

Sort of an aside that I have observed, the more I shoot the better I get. The same cannot be said of golf.

And 3 hours of your day and assuming 65/70 mph 200 some mile trip. I dont think you’re saving as much as you think.

Inflation is here…and most likely here to stay. These prices( on any item or services not just shooting ranges…..once people adjust) will be here to stay.

Prices didn't rise, the dollar lost value. It's inflation caused by the Fed. It's everywhere.

At Angeles there are so many rifles being shot off at the same time at the same targets that you can’t tell if it was you or the guy 20 lanes down from you with the 155mm sized muzzle break that scored the hit.

Yeah Angeles was pretty close to being wiped out. $25 for all day isn't bad at all.

To be fair, it's $25 on Saturday & Sunday (prime time rate).

There are times when you can shoot for less. Rates are from their website as of 9/20/21

It's just a bummer they didn't give much of an announcement and raised the prices on members in the midst of their membership. I go once a week and this price change took me by surprise by missing a week or two in August.

We should all just be glad all the ranges we have in California are still open. I am surprised they don't charge more...just to prepare for legal fees when the anti gun nuts try and close them down or to prepare for the next fire.

IMHO, anyone not able to produce a current NRA/CRPA membership should be paying more and that money donated to 2A legal defense funds.

Yep. IIRC it is $50 the first year and $30 a year to renew. Still worth it even if you only go once a month.

They should charge even more! I already see a lot less of old timers just sitting there and taking everybody brass. A lot less of riff raff doing mag dumps and sagging pants.

That may be more due to ammo shortages. I remember when the help at Angeles was notorious for stealing brass. Or when one of them set up a BS GoFundMe to line their pockets after one of the fires trying to imply the money was for rebuilding the range.
